Are 18–24-year-olds leaving—or considering leaving—Calgary? This question proved complex, given the range of social, political, economic, and environmental factors involved.

After extensive analysis of both internal and external influences affecting this demographic, my team concluded that young adults are leaving Calgary at an increasingly accelerated rate. Our response focused on developing a clear, actionable solution—anchored by a comprehensive Action Plan.

In this project, I played a key role in the Cause & Effect analysis, Citizen’s Journey mapping, High School Strategy, and overall report design. Together, we delivered a cohesive narrative and long-term strategic framework for Calgary Economic Development, designed to be actionable within one to three years and beyond.
