Cigfluencers began as a simple question posed in my now-defunct newsletter, Is Smoking Only Cool If You’re Hot?
What started as an extension of that article in 2021 quickly evolved into an Instagram mood board celebrating celebrities such as Dua Lipa, Jeremy Allen White, and Charli XCX. The account was subsequently cited across multiple publications as a visual touchpoint in discussions around the cultural resurgence of cigarettes with 85k followers and counting.
