As a first-year university student, there were very few opportunities to work in the fashion industry (beyond retail). Without these opportunities at my disposal, I decided to create something that was uniquely my own. With that being said, I created ‘Lonely Boys’. Lonely Boys was (briefly) a streetwear brand focussed on creating affordable and trend driven clothing that appealed to streetwear aficionados. To bring my vision for Lonely Boys to fruition, I created the brands logo, marketing materials, and Shopify web-store. Further, I sourced blank clothing for products to be printed on, as well as sought out affordable embroidery shops to fulfill orders. Promotion was primarily done through Lonely Boys’ Shopify web-store, and the Lonely Boys Instagram profile.
